World TB Day 2015

On the occasion of world TB day, Fatima hospital conducted a Rally at 2 pm on 24th March, 2015 to give awareness to people of the locality about tuberculosis. The theme of world TB day was “STOP TB'',”.

The chief guest was Mr Shailendra singh (Ballu singh)corporator of Mahanagar, CBCICARD State co ordinator Mr. Ankur Sadana , Dr.Sudhir Srivastava- Pathologist of Fatima hospital, Mr. Ashudosh Mishra-Axshya programme Dist. Co ordinator, -RNTCP STS,The administrator of Fatima hospital Sr.Blessy, the sisters, staff students and TB patients, people from different slums were also present.


After the rally there was a gathering on the occasion of World TB day in the nursing school auditorium.The gathering started with a prayer. Miss.Purnima (staff of DOTs department of the hospital) welcomed the dignitaries. Messages were given to people through puppet shaw, power point presentation and talk by different dignatiries on the dias and of the dias.

The invited guest addressed the gathering with their valuable knowledge about TB and the importance of the day. The gathering was concluded with vote of thanks by Sr.Bency the incharge of DOTS department Of Fatima hospital.
